they（主格）ー their（所有格）ー them（目的格）とセットで覚えておこう。
主語が単数のときは he ・ she ・ it と男性・女性・ものを区別するが，複数の場合はどれも they になる。男性と女性，人と動物などをまとめて they ということもあるので，何を指しているのかよく注意することが大切である。
- There are some girls in the park. 公園に女の子たちがいます。
- They are pretty. 彼女らはかわいいです。 they ＝ some girls
- There are some flowers in the garden. 庭に花があります。
